The purpose of RECSLAC is to provide information on activities related to the history and social studies of science in Latin America and the Caribbean. RECSLAC began with the shared observation that research on HSTEM in Latin America and the Caribbean had grown quickly but that its integration into the broader history of science and STS fields was uneven. RECSLAC is led by Karin Rosemblatt of the University of Maryland and a twelve-member steering committee that bridges geographic regions and time periods. We invite you to get involved!
